Hepworth is the Middle East’s premier manufacturer and supplier of high quality plastic piping systems for the distribution and transmission of water, waste water.
Hepworth has been manufacturing and marketing pipes, fittings and related products in the Middle East for over 40 years. We manufacture PVC, HDPE, PPR and ABS pipes and fittings in the UAE and Qatar and trade through our subsidiary companies in Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and export operations.
We represent and manufacture pipes and fittings under licence for Wavin and Georg Fischer and distribute other complementary products including equipments and valves for AVK and other principals.
Hepworth UPVC Above Ground Drainage
Hepworth Soil and Waste Systems provide an efficient means of drainage of wastewater and foul discharge in both single and multistorey buildings. The push-fit joints allow for pipe expansion and incorporate a patented purpose-designed sealing method.
The systems are manufactured in sizes from 32mm to 400mm in light grey uPVC/PP/ABS. The range includes traps, push-fit waste systems, solvent weld systems, soil and vent systems and a full range of floor gullies.
Hepworth UPVC Below Ground Drainage
P.V.C.u. pipes and fittings are regarded as flexible under the stresses set up by backfill and surcharge loads. Properly installed in a suitable bed and surround, part of this load is transmitted to the side fill which is correspondingly consolidated.
The modulus of elasticity of P.V.C.u. varies from about 400,000 p.s.i. when new to about 200,000 p.s.1. after 50 years.
In the event of unforeseen excess loading which could cause fracture of pipes of rigid materials, the P.V.C.u. pipes merely take on a small, and generally temporary, increase in deformation.
